Greetings Youth Combatants of Northshield!
Their will be a youth tournament at this year’s Castle Fever in the Shire of Silfren Mere on June 27th.
When: It will start at the conclusion of Her Highness’ Princess Sleeve tournament!
What Type of Tournament: This will be a Round Robin, best 2 of 3, tournament. Multiple pools if we need to.
Requirements: You must be authorized. Some loaner armor will be available. Combatants are encouraged to bring as much of their own gear as they can. There may be time for authorizations.
Prize: Dice and Spanish doubloons.

The current holder of The Talon, Davin of Jararvellir, will be at the event and accepting challenges!!! Win the Talon and get your name in the Boke of Talon Holders.
The Talon
The Talon is to be a symbol of prowess in Level 2 Youth Combat. The only way to acquire the Talon is by challenging the bearer and being victorious.
The Talon may only be challenged for at published events.
The Talon may only change hands once per day. In the event of a multiple day event, the Talon may change hands over multiple days.
To challenge for the Talon the challenger must declare to the current holder, “I hearby challenge you for the Talon.” The Proper response is “I accept your challenge” or ” I am forbidden from accepting your challenge.”
The format of the fight is bring your best style, and best 2 out of 3 fights.
In the event there are more than 1 challenger, a tournament should be held with that winner facing the holder. It is recommended that the holder announce at the beginning of the day so that all may know they are there.
Lastly the previous holder should make sure the new holder is aware of these rules.
